Catherine Eaton
Catherine is a director, writer, actor, and storytelling activist. She directed and co-wrote the feature THE SOUNDING which won over two-dozen awards on the festival circuit, released on HBO for international broadcast, and was nominated for the SAMHSA Voice Awards for activism. Catherine was selected as a Shadowing-Director for Ryan Murphy's Half Program and for Tribeca Film Festival's "Through Her Lens" Director’s Lab and Grant. She was a Statera Mentee under Showrunner Kit Steinkellner, an Avalon: Story Fellow, and a Regenerative Filmmaker for reGEN Media. Catherine’s pilot FREE RADICAL – based on her experience working with freelance news crews in conflict zones – was selected for The Gotham/IFP's Project Forum.

Catherine is a writer and has directed at Next Chapter Podcasts where she’s written/adapted over 100 episodes for the Play On Series. She is the Co-Showrunner of S2 of The Light Ahead podcast. Having performed on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, Manhattan Theatre Club, and at regional theaters across North America and abroad, Catherine is a recipient of the Katharine Cornell Award, the Lisa Blount Memorial Acting Award, the Manchester Film Festival Acting Award, and a Helen Hayes Award nominee. She teaches Screen Directing at Harvard.
